It smells like walking up the back steps at Chad’s Chai, ready to clock in no anxiety, just excitement to see who I’d be working with. I never really felt like I belonged at other jobs, but somehow I did there.
Chad’s Chai was the first place to believe in my candles, giving me a little space on their shelves when I was just starting out. Now that I’m a full time artist, I don’t have a place to clock in anymore, so I’m especially grateful that I can still carry a little piece of that place with me.
